Polestar And SK Inc Sign MOU To Enable Collaboration In Technology

The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that paves the best way for them to assess possible collaborations in areas that include semiconductor technology, besides electric car battery technology and related programs.

Pollstar expects to supply additional details of the final outcome of those talks sooner or later.

Polestar is exploring a broad alliance with South Korea’s SK Inc. to advance the improvement of high-performance electric vehicles. SK Group operates over 120 companies in the semiconductor, electric car battery, vitality and telecommunications industries.

The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which paves the best way for them to assess possible cooperation in areas that include semiconductor technology, besides electric car battery technology and related programs. This scope could also include potential industrial options such as battery supplies for upcoming vehicles.

Each corporation will now conduct technical, sustainability and price feasibility research for each location to judge partnership potential. Pollstar expects to supply additional details of the final outcome of those talks sooner or later.
